Product Description:

DUPLEX is a Blizz Timing innovation: two chronometers-in-one at a resonable price.

-One C-200 for the majority of the Italian regularity car races like Mille Miglia , Trofeo Nuvolari where times are taken at the ‘hundreds of seconds’

-One SPEED for the’ average speed’ races (like Rally Monte Carlo. Acropolis, San Remo Rally classic)
Two chronometers-in-one, by simply replacing one microprocessor. This operation can be easily made by anybody in a few minutes following the simple instruction manual by a professional extractor (tweezers) supplied with the chronometer. After replacement of the microprocessor (the chrono’s software), the chronometer will be operating according to the required version.

From now on you have the possibility to change your C-200 into a SPEED for average speed regularity car races like MonteCarlo Histotic Rally, Acropolis Classic, San Remo Classic etc.

In which way?
Simply replacing the microprocessor, you can change your C-200 into a SPEED and viceversa according to your specific needs.

Which procedure is to be followed ?
The microprocessor can be easily replaced by anybody in a few minutes simply following the instruction manual using a professional extractor (tweezers) included in the kit.

Precision, simple usage, reliability, versatility and very attractive price are the major characteristics of this instrument . Double entry chronoprinter, manually controlled, battery or current powered (12V). Possibility of entering the car number either before or after memorization of time. This printer can be connected by rs 232 connecting plug to computer for direct data entry.
Memory recording capacity up to 8000 times. It is equipped with high quality thermocompensated quartz. Precision : at 20 °degrees C ambient temperature : 0.5 ppm (less than 1/100 of second every 5 hours).
Precision setting range : second, 1/10, 1/100, 1/1000 of second. Timer setting: from 0,01 to 2 seconds. The chronoprinter is packed in a practical case which includes 2 spare thermic paper rolls and 5 alkaline cells.

The kit complete with its various components, is sold “ ready for usage” The box is made of molded aluminum alloy, the lid complete with 4 rust-proof steel fixing screws is equipped with a syntethic rubber gasket which ensure IP 65 water resistance. The high pressure resistent connecting plugs can be easily disconnected from the box in case of replacement, transport or storage. All connecting plugs are protected by a plastic cap to avoid infiltration of either dust or humidity. All connecting plugs holes are threaded and sealed.
An extremely sensitive pneumatic switch detects and transforms even the smallest variation in pressure (5 mBar) into electrical impulse. Changes in ambient temperature causing pressure variations inside the rubber tube are automatically compensated. The pressostat is equipped a classic type rubber tube, black, smooth, double layer with sysnthetic fabric framework, 10 bar maximum working pressure 10 bar, 5 mm. internal diameter, 11 mm. external diameter.
