Pre-production models of the new Co-Pilote Rally watch were used by 9 Works team co-drivers during August, on the WRC Rally of Finland and Germany including reigning world champion Robert Reid, Colin McRae's co-driver Nicky Grist and Tommi Mäkinen's co-driver Kaj Lindström.

  1. Prestart option of next whole minute or user choice in seconds (including instant start).
  2. Dual time of day and stopwatch display with freeze time of day and stopwatch time.
  3. Store up to 30 stage times in memory. Memory recall gives time of day, stage time and cumulative time for each stage.
  4. Simple time adjustment function to update a stage time in memory to give correct stage and cumulative times.
  5. Six! Presettable countdown/up timers. Can be linked to stopwatch, or to each other, or to run independently. Copilote Rally Watch
  6. Easy to set and change time of day and timers. Setting logic starts with seconds first with the ability to (nudge) increase or decrease settings for seconds,minutes,hours.
  7. Separate (independent) Time of day display with day date and alarm
  8. Separate (second) dual display stopwatch with cumulative and lap split times.

This watch was designed using the input of many top co-drivers from WRC works teams and is ideal for all rally timing systems.

The functions are specifically aimed at the rally co-driver. The watch is easy to set up, easy to capture, read, store and recall data. The combination of functions on this watch are unique.

A - Memory full indicator
B - Alarm on indicator
C - Battery indicator
D - Time of day display
E - Timer linked to chrono status 		F - Stage number
H - Prestart mode
I - Split time indicator
J - 100th second stopwatch display
K - Six timer status

The buttons are used as follows:


A - Set
- Hold for 2 seconds to activate setting.
- Move to next item during setting.
- Search records in memory recall.
- Select a desired timer in timer mode. 		B - Split/reset
- Take a split time.
- Release split time measurement.
- Store split time into memory.
- Reset chrono to zero after chrono stop.
- Exit from setting mode.
- Reload timer value.
C - Start/stop
- Start or stop stopwatch running.
- Start or stop timer.
- Press for increment during setting.
- Read memory records in memory recall mode. 		D - Light
- Toggle 12/24hr display format in time of day setting.
- Turn on backlight for 4 seconds.
E - Mode
- Scroll through modes.
- Press for decrement.
